Analysis of Common Problems of Basin Angle Teeth

2023-02-02

The full name of the basin angle teeth is: differential active and passive teeth, which are divided into two parts: passive teeth and main teeth. The single-stage reducer is an active vertebral gear, and a secondary basin-angle tooth. The driving vertebral gear is connected to the transmission shaft and rotates clockwise. Due to the small diameter of the active bevel gear and the large diameter of the basin angle teeth, the function of deceleration is achieved.
How to adjust the problem of excessive clearance space of the basin angle gear:

The adjustment of the basin angle gear is not only a problem of clearance, generally speaking, the clearance is relatively easy to adjust, mainly due to meshing marks. After replacing the pot angle gear, first install the pot tooth or the big wheel on the differential case, then fix the bearing seats and flower nuts on both sides, basically preset a position, install the small wheel (corner tooth), and the small wheel Apply coloring agent on the tooth surface, usually red lead powder, and move it by hand to see the coloring of the tooth surface, and adjust it until the imprint on the working tooth surface of the large wheel is small, but it cannot come out of the tooth end. One of the adjustment positions is to adjust the flower nuts at both ends of the large wheel, and the other is to adjust the thickness of the gasket behind the small wheel. As for the gap you mentioned, you can squeeze the lead wire on the tooth side, and then measure the thickness of the lead wire after extrusion. The specific backlash requirements depend on the modulus and working conditions of the gears, but there is no problem with conventional backlash around 0.3~0.4mm.
